Zimaki Consult was formed and registered in Kenya in 2008 with the aim of providing the full range of financial, contract management and advisory services in areas of quantity surveying services, project management, construction management, dispute resolution, project audits and feasibility studies to developers of building and civil engineering projects in Kenya and the East African region against the background of the existing professional consultancy framework in the region.
ZIMAKI CONSULT has a rich background in all aspects of quantity surveying, project management, construction management and arbitration. The partners have individually or as a team handled a wide spectrum of projects of varying complexity and size and involving different types of Clientele. This has exposed them fully to the intricacies of project planning, documentation, control, procurement and contract procedure.
CAPACITY AND WORKING APPROACH
Zimaki uses a working approach whereby the partners attend personally to all the matters relating to the projects under their care. The project professional team actively coordinate and work with and under the direction and close supervision of the partners.
Zimaki has also adopted a ‘management-by-project’ approach in running its business. This enables the firm to set up systems and build expertise and competence amongst its staff with focus on emerging trends and challenges.
